Some of the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen were weather-related: impressive cloud formations, bright atmospheric optics, ... . I just have to try that myself... . I'm only just starting to take photographs, and I've still got a lot to learn. Still, I'm quite proud of some of my early results.

Canon EOS 350D Digital rebel camera: acquired at the very end of 2005, a nice new years gift if you will. I opted for the standard kit zith 18-55mm, and bought an extra Sigma 70-300mm DG APO telezoom lens.
A bit in a hurry, but early July 2007 I got myself the Tamron SP AF 11-18mm f/4.5-5.6 LD Aspherical (IF) wide angle in preparation for my Java and Bali trip.
This camera will be used especially for nature photography (expect some nice pictures on this site, at least that's what I'm hoping), but some family shots won't be out of the option ;-).
Canon Powershot G5 digital camera: bought in 2003, not only good for your standard holiday pics, but excellent for weather photographs. The 15 second maximum exposure time is quite short for nighttime (especially astronomical) photography, but as the camera displays quite some noise at longer exposures of nighttime sceneries, longer would not avail to much. Still, handy for those quick snaps for the album ;-).
Canon Digital IXUS 70: bought early July 2007 as a small "pocket-camera". Had a maiden trip to Indonesia and I must say I'm quite pleased with it's performance.
